    Guitar AVAILABLE!!! This is a very fine 16" 7-string archtop hand-crafted by Dale Unger of American Archtop guitars. It is in near-mint condition with no issues, and has a 25" scale and a body depth of 2.75". Single mounted humbucking pickup sounds very good on this guitar, warm and full and rich for solo or accompaniment. Very well-made by an apprentice of Robert Benedetto. Comes with OHC; retail for a new one from Dale is about $4,600. This one is priced right at $3,250.

Recorded live at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on April 10, 2011 during the exhibiiton "Guitar Heroes - from Italy to New York," and played exclusively on John Monteleone's 4 Seasons guitars. The DVD gives the complete Seasons song cycle performance along with interviews and historical information about John Monteleone, Anthony Wilson, and the 4 stunning Seasons guitars. The CD contains the Seasons song cycle performance and also includes solo performances by Anthony, Steve, Chico, and Julian, plus the closing number played together of Joni Mitchell's "the Circle Game." These guitarists, their music and their instruments create a compelling and engrossing tapestry of written and improvised music on acoustic archtops that almost defies description. Commissioned by John Monteleone, the music score for Seasons is rich and varied and very reminiscent of each changing season, just as John intended when he made the 4 Seasons guitars. The body has a carved spruce top, carved and bookmatched birdseye maple back and sides, and a curly maple neck. It has a custom suspended 7-string pickup with endpin jack and controls on the pickguard. Body depth is 3", scale length is 24.5", and neck width at the nut is 2-1/8th". Nice condition, plays easily, very warm acoustic/electric sound. A fine instrument.

Body depth is 2-7/8ths inches at the rim, and the guitar is very comfortable to hold and play for extended periods. The Rhapsody has a flat top of nice bearclaw Adirondack spruce and an arched back of intensely figured plum pudding mahogany, with matching mahogany sides and John's trademark fleur-de-lis side soundhole on the upper bass bout. It has the 1.75" nut width and 25" scale length, and has a bone nut and compensated bone saddle. Fitted with an internal K & K Pure Western pickup, it can cover many kinds of music with ease. The top has a beautiful inlaid rosette, and the neck has the optional snakewood fretboard. The deluxe Ameritage hard case completes the package. This is a beautiful early postwar noncutaway L5 with the prewar headstock logo , Brazilian rosewood fretboard, and exceptional woods that make for an outstanding acoustic archtop. No modifications, cracks, or repairs of any kind. The original pickguard has disintegrated, and a new Mirabella reproduction is in its place. This L5 has a nice round neck and a full, wide-ranging sound. The carved and bookmatched curly maple back is very similar to that of a fine violin. OHC with unusual blue lining.
