  • 1992 Benedetto Manhattan autumnburst, Near Mint, Original Hard, Call For Price!

    Guitar Serial # 27992 is a 1992 Manhattan made by Bob Benedetto in his East Stroudburg, PA shop prior to his work with Fender. Entirely created by Bob himself, this guitar is a gem. It is in near-mint original condition with no issues and no alterations or repairs. Scale length is 25 inches, neck width at the nut is 1.75 inches, and body depth is 3 inches. The finish is a beautiful autumnburst, very subtle and very favorable to the dramatic figure in the curly maple back, sides, and neck. The top is carved of finest spruce; the back is carved and bookmatched curly maple; the sides are fine curly maple; and the neck is 3-piece curly maple with an ebony fretboard. Acoustically the guitar is very responsive, with a broad range of tonal response depending on how it is picked and played. Electrically, it sounds very warm across the tone spectrum and has a very smooth but punchy delivery when it is pushed. The instrument comes with its' original hard case and is in fine condition.
